Lanolin

Lanolin protects and moisturises our skin so effectively due to its natural composition being similar to our own skins lipids. When applied to your skin lanolin is absorbed by the Stratum Corneum. It works naturally with your skin to reduce daily moisture loss and thereby helps restore softness and elasticity, especially to dry and undernourished skin. Lanolin is used in most world renowned cosmetic brands and baby creams because of its soothing, emollient and water-resistant properties.

Collagen

The marine collagen used in Alpine Silk helps boost the skin’s firmness and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Jojoba is actually an oil based semi liquid wax derived from the jojoba seed which is naturally found in the south western desert states of America and Mexico. It has superb mositurising qualities but is also effective antibacterial and hypoallergenic. This means the oil like wax effectively hydrates your skin, hair or nails and whilst protecting the skin from bacteria and everyday dirt. Also being hypoallergenic means that is should not cause skin reactions or clog pores. Combined with our other key ingredients, jojoba keeps skin retain its moisture and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and stretch marks.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has been has been recognised for thousands of years for its superb medicinal qualities. The Aloe Vera gel itself is derived for the succulent aloe plant native to Africa. Aloe Vera has excellent anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and helps support natural skin regeneration.
